I am all set up to lose some weight. To be clear, it's not because I'm unhappy with the way I look -- I'm actually quite comfortable in my body. It's because I'm turning 30 soon and am curious to see... what I can do. Does that make sense to anyone but me? It's like rearranging your furniture. Or playing the Sims. I just want to see what thin Bambi looks like (since I can't really see what tall Bambi looks like, heh). I just want to see if I can do it. It's like trying on a new dress. I still love the old one so much, but I'm curious to see how this one looks too! I've been keeping track of how much I eat for about a month now and, just as I've always known, I don't eat enough. I'm allergic to many preservatives so I tend to eat a lot of fresh food (probably 90% of what I eat is fresh, actually). I've found that on an average day I don't eat more than 1400 calories, which isn't really a whole lot. So I've begun having a meal replacement shake for breakfast and one for lunch to actually boost my intake (and therefore boost my metabolism). My problem has always been that I don't eat enough and my metabolism gets bored and takes a nap, heh. I'm trying to snack more which has meant that to eat breakfast earlier just to have enough time in the day where I'm not constantly nibbling on something -- how do people do it? I suppose the answer is that they nibble all day. So here I am, armed with delicious fruits and veggies. Eating my way to a thinner me. Exercise isn't much of a problem either. I like to workout. Always have. Lately I've been dancing my way into a heavy sweat with Just Dance for Wii. Fun songs and difficult dance moves keep it entertaining. I also love to walk and if you were to watch me for a week you might get the impression that I like to carry heavy groceries. There's exercise in having to eat fresh food every day, let me tell you. Anyway, enough rambling. We'll see how it goes, right? The start point is 225. Let's see where it ends up. Tomorrow might be a day to take a walk and treat myself to some Fit Active from Teaopia. Oh how I love tea. Especially tea that tastes like hot Fruit Loops. Made In Blog ad
