The Walking Dead season 3 sneak peek (PICS)

If you're here, I'll assume you don't mind at least a little bit of show-spoilage. But just in case you do mind, here's your fair warning: There are some minor spoilers under the cut. Nothing major, nothing you might not have guessed yourself, and nothing at all if you've read the comics. There. Warned.

Here's a look ahead to season three, presented by the cast of The Walking Dead:

The second season of AMC's The Walking Dead left us with an ominous glance over the tree tops to what appeared to be an abandoned prison. Of course, if you've read the comics written by Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard, you'll be very familiar with the prison.

Now for a few teaser and, in some cases, spoiler pictures from the upcoming season!

Showrunner and executive producer, Glen Mazzara had this to say:
I’m incredibly proud of the prison. I think our crew has done a great job. It’s a huge sense of scale and magnitude I haven’t seen on any other show as far as construction. What’s important to us is the prison itself is now a character in the show. It’s a haunted house, it’s scary, it’s frightening, and there are parts of the prison that are always terrifying, that are always inaccessible to our group. It’s not necessarily the blessing that the prison in the comic book turned out to be.

Season 3 of The Walking Dead premieres in October on AMC.
